Vegetable Tumeric Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all purpose flower

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 1 ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp tumeric

  • 1 ½ cup room temperature water

  • Diced/julienned carrots, broccolli, purple cabbage, squash, chives (any vegetable you like, really, just chop them up small

  • Dipping Sauce:
  • 1 TBSP Soy sauce

  • 1 TBSP Water

  • 1-2 cups sugar

  • ½ tsp sesame seeds

  • Pinch of chili powder (optional)

Directions

  • Mix together all ingredients except vegetables
  • Add vegetables, mix
  • Flatten into big pancake, then cut into pieces of any shape. Doing it this way helps to ensure uniform shape.
  • Fry or bake. May be kept warm until ready to serve
